A European platform for interdisciplinary research on artistic methodologies Labo21, or the laboratory of the 21th century, is a platform that encompasses three autonomous research projects on artistic methodologies in three European countries. In this two year project ICK is part of a network of four European research partners: Wayne McGregor | Random Dance (United Kingdom), BADco (Croatia), and Coventry University (United Kingdom). Troubleyn - Jan Fabre (Belgium) is research partner and coordinator of Labo21.

The outcomes are made public through journal publications, tool releases, installations, performances and presentations. Presentations take place within the partner events, but also outside of the partner structure. The first Labo21 Salon took place from 21 to 24 November 2012 in Amsterdam and was hosted by ICK.

Labo21 is supported by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission. www.labo21.eu
