YOUNG PARA | DISO

In Young Paradiso we work with 3 classes of different primary schools in Amsterdam. First the students see the performance PARA | DISO Revisited and after they will create their own choreography. The main goal is to look at the themes of the performance and connect them to the world of a child. Students themselve will find their interpretation of paradise. What is their paradise? The focus will not be on religion, but on their own ideal. What does that look like? Who is there? What do you need?

Eventually the three classes are working on a final presentation at Jeugdtheater de Krakeling where they perform together with the dancers of PARA | DISO Revisited.

ICK and de Krakeling have an ongoing partnership for educational projects. In 2013-2014 they developed the educationproject ROCCITO for primary school students. Followed by Young Macbeth in 2015, where students of three different high schools worked with the original cast around the themes of Macbeth. Macbeth was a dance/theater production by ICK and De Toneelmakerij. Supported by VSB.
