Vincent Verbug

Vincent Verburg is the founder and artistic director of Movementalist along with being a choreographer, teacher, performer and cultural entrepreneur. He has worked in various fields in the US, Europe, South America and Australia, and is based in Amsterdam. He began his career a street dancer and has been influenced by various dance languages, from Hip Hop to Street Jazz, Modern, Butoh, Physical Theatre, Clown, African to Improvisation and Multimedia.

 In 2010, Vincent created the research project One at Dansmakers then joined a residency at ICK in 2012.
